Local facts

Three Philadelphia figures to know before you book

Each one comes from a public source, and each is worth checking against your own event before you plan a booth in this city.

  • Sales tax is 6 percent plus 2 in the cityThe Pennsylvania Department of Revenue gives the state sales tax rate as 6 percent, with a 2 percent local tax added to purchases made in Philadelphia. It describes the tax as applying to the retail sale, consumption, rental or use of tangible personal property and to certain services. When you ask for a quote, ask whether the figure includes tax or lists it separately.
  • July highs average 87.8 degrees, with 4.38 inches of rainThose are the National Weather Service normals for Philadelphia International Airport, measured over 1991 to 2020. Every month from May through October averages between 3.34 and 4.40 inches of rain. An outdoor booth here needs cover and an outlet nearby, whatever the forecast says a week out.
  • Tent permits begin above 400 square feetThe City requires a tent permit for tents larger than 400 square feet, and for tents larger than 10 feet by 10 feet in a City park. The fee is $126 per tent, plus $200 for setup on a weekend or after 4 p.m. on a weekday. Our 360 booth needs about 10 by 10 feet, so a park tent that covers it with room to spare needs the permit.

Booth types

Eight booths and what guests take home from each

We rent eight kinds of booth, and they do different jobs. Some print on the spot, some send only digital files, one shoots video and one records voices. The table sets out what guests get from each, the floor area to plan for and the rate where we publish one.

Every published rate carries a three-hour minimum, and the figures come from our pricing page. Where the table says by quote, we have not published a rate for that booth, so we price it for your date and venue.

Booths that print

The Timeless Snap is a digital booth with a professional DSLR camera, studio lighting and a 43-inch touchscreen. Prints come out in under ten seconds, and guests also get digital copies, GIFs and boomerangs on their phones. It carries the lowest rate we publish.

The Timeless Snap photo booth, a white oval screen unit on a white stand
The Timeless Snap

The Reflections Mirror is a full-length touchscreen mirror that greets guests with animations and prompts. Guests sign their photo on screen, pick a frame and collect a print, with a digital copy sent to their phone. Our mirror photo booth rental Philadelphia page covers the mirror on its own.

The Glam Booth shoots high-key black and white portraits with a soft-focus finish, prints in about ten seconds and texts every photo to the guest. The same lighting and finish can be delivered in color, or in both. The Green Screen Booth replaces the background live with a scene you choose, and guests can pick between several scenes at the screen while the attendant handles the changes.

Booths that send video and digital files

On the Infinite 360, guests step onto a raised platform and a camera arm travels all the way around them, recording slow-motion video. The platform holds one to four guests at a time, and the attendant cues the music and guides each group. The finished clip goes to their phones with your overlay on it, and the 360 photo booth rental Philadelphia page has the full detail.

The Selfie Station is a touchscreen at eye level ringed by studio-quality light, with no enclosure, curtain or printer. It sends photos, boomerangs and GIFs by text or email and prints nothing. We suggest it when floor space is tight, when guests do not need a print, or as a second capture point elsewhere in the venue.

The AI Photo Booth photographs a guest and uses a generative AI model to restyle the portrait while keeping the person recognizable. It takes roughly thirty seconds from capture to finished portrait, and the result arrives by text. We set two or three styles before the event, and it works best beside a booth that prints or as the centerpiece of a product launch or brand activation.

The audio guest book

The Audio Guest Book is a vintage-style telephone. Guests lift the handset, hear a greeting you recorded beforehand and leave a message after the tone, with no app, QR code or instructions. Afterward every message is delivered as an individual, cleaned-up audio file, and most people who book it pair it with a photo booth.

Call us with the room and the guest count, and we will recommend the booth that fits.

Prices

What our photo booth rentals cost

We publish hourly rates for three booths, each in two tiers and each with a three-hour minimum. The rates below are quoted from our pricing page as published. The other five booths have no published rate, so they are not in the table.

BoothClassic tierPrestige tierThree hours at ClassicFour hours at Classic
The Timeless Snap$199/hr$249/hr$597$796
The Infinite 360$249/hr$349/hr$747$996
The Reflections Mirror$299/hr$349/hr$897$1,196

The three-hour and four-hour totals are the ones worked out in our cost guide. They are the hourly rate multiplied by the hours, before any optional add-ons or travel charge. Setup and teardown do not count against the hours you book.

The pricing page names a Classic and a Prestige tier for each of the three booths and gives the rate for each. The scope of what you are booking is confirmed in the written proposal. Ask us to set the two tiers side by side there before you choose.

What moves a quote up or down

Our cost guide lists seven things that decide the final figure. None of them is unusual, but it helps to have answers ready when you ask for a quote.

  • Booth type. The digital Snap is the most affordable published option, and the 360 and the mirror cost more.
  • Hours. Three hours is the minimum, and each added hour is charged at the hourly rate.
  • Day and date. Saturdays from May to October and dates in December are the peak for bookings.
  • Prints or digital only. Whether the booth prints or only sends files is one of the factors the guide lists.
  • Add-ons. The guide names premium backdrops and guest books.
  • Guest count. A large guest count may warrant a second booth or attendant, so give us the number when you inquire.
  • Travel. A travel fee may apply outside our standard service zone.

Some things are not add-ons. Custom print templates, branded start screens, personalized overlays and backdrop options are listed on the pricing page at no extra charge.

One figure to check on any quote is sales tax. The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue gives the state rate as 6 percent, with a 2 percent local tax added to purchases made in Philadelphia. When you ask us for a quote, ask whether the figure includes tax or shows it as a separate line.

An inquiry does not hold a date

Sending us an inquiry does not reserve a date or create a service contract. Availability, pricing, scope, payment terms and cancellation terms are confirmed separately in a written proposal or booking agreement. Read the payment and cancellation terms in that document before you sign it.

Check your date with us and ask for a written quote for the booth and hours you want.

What is included

What comes with every rental

Every package on our pricing page covers delivery, setup and teardown, a professional on-site attendant, props, studio lighting, unlimited sessions during your rental window and instant digital sharing. Print packages add unlimited prints. You do not have to ask for any of those items to be added to the quote.

The attendant

A professional attendant delivers, sets up, runs and breaks down the booth. On the 360 the attendant cues the music and guides each group onto the platform. On the mirror the attendant helps guests pose and restocks props and prints.

For the 360, our attendant arrives about an hour before your start time to set up and test everything, then handles the breakdown afterward. Setup and teardown are never counted against your booked hours. The audio guest book is the one piece guests use on their own, by picking up the handset.

The design

We build the print layout, start screen and overlays around your colors and theme, and you approve every design before the day. Designs can be made in English, in Spanish or in both. For company events the same elements can carry your logo and brand colors.

The gallery and the keepsakes

Guests leave with prints or instant digital copies, depending on the booth. After the event you get the full gallery, organized and ready to share. With the audio guest book you receive each message as its own audio file, so you can find one voice without playing them all.

What you can read before you ask

Our published pricing, the three-hour minimums, the service area, the space each booth needs and the included features are all available before you send an inquiry. Our Google profile lists us under Photo booth and showed a rating of 5.0 from 14 reviews when it was read on October 3, 2026. The about page explains how we work and where.

Call us and we will go through what is included for the booth you have in mind.

Your venue

What to settle with the venue before the day

We bring the booth to your venue. There is no storefront or public studio to visit, so everything depends on the room, the outlet and the way in. Before the day we confirm floor space, power, load-in and timing, and it helps if your venue coordinator has the same list.

Floor space and power

  • The Infinite 360. Roughly a 10 by 10 foot area on a flat, level surface, with a standard power outlet in reach.
  • The Reflections Mirror and the Timeless Snap. About 8 by 8 feet each, near a standard 110V outlet.
  • The Green Screen Booth. About ten by ten feet, because the backdrop has to sit far enough behind guests to be lit evenly.
  • The Selfie Station. A footprint of a couple of feet. If there is room for a cocktail table, there is room for it.

Ask the venue where the nearest outlet to that spot is and when vendors may load in. Give us the booth’s start time as well, because the attendant sets up before it and that time is not billed.

Outdoor events

The 360 can be set up outdoors as long as it sits on level ground, stays sheltered from rain and strong wind and has a power source nearby. We recommend a covered or tented area. Philadelphia’s weather makes cover the safe plan: the National Weather Service normals for Philadelphia International Airport show an average July high of 87.8 degrees and between 3.34 and 4.40 inches of rain in every month from May through October.

A tent brings a City rule with it. Philadelphia requires a tent permit for tents larger than 400 square feet, and for tents larger than 10 feet by 10 feet in a City park. The fee is $126 per tent, plus $200 for setup on a weekend or after 4 p.m. on a weekday. Since the 360 itself needs about 10 by 10 feet, a tent that covers it with any margin in a City park passes that threshold.

City property and the Convention Center

An event that uses City-owned property, City equipment or City services may need a special event permit from the Office of Special Events. The application fee is $25 when it goes in at least 90 days ahead and $75 inside 90 days. Events on City property must have a certificate of general liability insurance for at least $1,000,000 that names the City of Philadelphia, and events in a park, field or recreation center need permits from Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. The event organizer makes that application, not the booth vendor.

At the Pennsylvania Convention Center, exhibitors order electrical service through the Center’s Exhibitor Services, and its Event Technology Department coordinates internet and audiovisual requests. The Center’s Contractor Services team explains the work rules that apply in the building. If a photo booth is going into your exhibit space there, order its outlet when you order the rest of the space’s services.

Send us the venue’s vendor rules

If your venue has rules for outside vendors, such as a load-in window or paperwork it wants to see, send them to us when you check your date. That way the answers are settled in the written proposal and not in the week of the event.

Call us with the venue name and we will go through space, power and load-in with you.

By event

Which booth suits which event

We work weddings, corporate events, school celebrations and milestone parties across Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey. The label on the event matters less than three questions. Do guests want something printed in their hands, how much floor is free, and how many people will use the booth at once?

Weddings

For weddings we design print templates in your colors, bring backdrops that match the venue and send the full gallery after the event. If keepsakes matter, pick a booth that prints, so parents and grandparents leave with something in hand. The mirror is a favorite for weddings and galas, the Glam Booth suits black tie receptions, and the audio guest book collects voices where a signed book would collect names. Our wedding photo booth rental Philadelphia page goes through the choices for a reception in more detail.

Corporate events

For companies we take on company parties, brand activations, galas and fundraisers, conferences and launches. Templates, start screens and overlays are designed around your company’s identity. The Green Screen Booth can place guests with your products or campaign imagery, and the AI Photo Booth suits a launch where novelty is the point. The corporate photo booth rental Philadelphia page covers branding and planning for company events.

Parties and school events

Birthdays, Sweet 16s, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduations and school events are a different kind of crowd. For a busy, high-volume party we point people to the Timeless Snap or the Infinite 360. The Glam Booth is less suited to that kind of room, because the look rewards a guest who stops and stands still.

Where space is the limit, the Selfie Station fits in a couple of feet and still comes with an attendant. It sends files and prints nothing, so pair it with a printing booth if you want both.

Tell us the event and the headcount, and we will suggest one booth or a pairing.

Timing and area

When to book and where we travel

For weddings and peak weekends, which run from May to October plus December, we advise booking two to six months ahead. For most other events three to four weeks is usually enough. Popular dates book fast, so check yours as soon as the venue is fixed.

What happens after you inquire

Tell us your date, your venue and the kind of event you are planning. The inquiry form also asks for the guest count and the booth you prefer, and you can say you are not sure yet. We confirm availability and send a straightforward quote.

The inquiry by itself does not reserve the date. The written proposal or booking agreement carries the price, the scope, the payment terms and the cancellation terms. After that we design your layouts for approval and confirm the venue details before the day.

Where we travel

Our core service area is Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks and Chester counties, the Main Line and South Jersey, and most of it is inside our standard service zone. The towns we name on our own site include King of Prussia, West Chester, Norristown, Bensalem and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Bensalem and the rest of Lower Bucks County are inside the standard zone, so no travel fee applies there.

A travel fee may apply outside the standard zone. If your venue is outside it, we quote any travel charge before you book, so send the venue’s location with your inquiry.

Questions

What people ask before they book a booth

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Philadelphia?

Our pricing page lists Classic rates of $199 an hour for the Timeless Snap, $249 an hour for the Infinite 360 and $299 an hour for the Reflections Mirror, each with a three-hour minimum. That makes the lowest totals $597, $747 and $897. The Prestige tiers are $249, $349 and $349 an hour. The Glam Booth, Selfie Station, Green Screen Booth, AI Photo Booth and Audio Guest Book are priced by quote.

Is there a minimum rental time?

Yes. Every rate on our pricing page carries a three-hour minimum. Extra hours are added at the hourly rate, so our cost guide puts four hours of the Classic Snap at $796 and four hours of the Classic 360 at $996. Setup and teardown do not count against those hours.

What is included in the price?

Every package covers delivery, setup and teardown, a professional on-site attendant, props, studio lighting, unlimited sessions during your rental window and instant digital sharing. Print packages include unlimited prints. Custom print templates, branded start screens, personalized overlays and backdrop options are listed at no extra charge.

How much space and power does a booth need?

Plan roughly 10 by 10 feet on a flat, level surface for the 360 and about 8 by 8 feet for the mirror and the Snap. The Green Screen Booth needs about ten by ten feet and the Selfie Station a couple of feet. Our pricing page asks for access to a standard 110V outlet.

Can a photo booth be set up outdoors?

The 360 can, as long as it sits on level ground, stays sheltered from rain and strong wind and has a power source nearby. We recommend a covered or tented area. In Philadelphia a tent larger than 400 square feet needs a City tent permit, as does one larger than 10 feet by 10 feet in a City park. For the other booths, ask us about your site when you inquire.

Do all of your booths print photos?

No. The Timeless Snap, the Reflections Mirror, the Glam Booth and the Green Screen Booth print. The Selfie Station is digital only, the 360 delivers video to phones, the AI Photo Booth sends its portraits by text and the Audio Guest Book records voice messages. If prints matter, choose from the first group.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to six months ahead for weddings and for peak weekends, which run from May to October plus December. Three to four weeks is usually enough for other events. Popular dates book fast, so check your date as soon as the venue is set.

Do you charge a travel fee?

A travel fee may apply outside our standard service zone. Our core service area is Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks and Chester counties, the Main Line and South Jersey, and most of it is inside that zone. Bensalem and the rest of Lower Bucks County, for example, are inside it, so the package price is the full price there. For a venue outside the zone we quote any travel charge before you book.

Is there a deposit, and what is the cancellation policy?

We do not publish deposit, payment or cancellation terms as a general policy. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a date or create a contract. Availability, pricing, scope, payment terms and cancellation terms are confirmed in a written proposal or booking agreement, so read that document before you sign.

Does an attendant stay with the booth?

Yes. A professional attendant delivers, sets up, runs and breaks down the booth, and stays for the full booking. That includes the Selfie Station. The Audio Guest Book is used by guests on their own: they lift the handset and leave a message.

Can we visit a showroom to see the booths?

No. We bring the booth to your venue, and there is no storefront or public studio to visit. The booth pages on this site describe each one, and you can call us with questions about a specific booth or room.

Can the print design match our colors, brand or language?

Yes. We build the print layout, start screen and overlays around your colors and theme, and you approve every design before the event. Company logos and brand elements can go on the same layouts. Designs are available in English, in Spanish or in both.
